My time waster this morning
But so fun! Now I'm moving on to my chores, but I wanted to share what I've been doing. For the past few years, I've been printing out Christmas gift tags I've found online, but today, I decided to try designing my own. I thought I'd share them with you here.
I'm not sure about image copyrights, but I will list the websites I got the images from here. The clipart from the first two tags came from http://www.cutecolors.com/. The clipart for the last two tags came from http://www.hellasmultimedia.com/webimages/. I downloaded the Snowflake brushes from http://www.easyelements.com/index.html. I created all these with Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, saved each one as a jpg file and made a sheet with two of each one side by side in Microsoft Word. I added black borders around each in Word as well. I suppose you could save each of these files, then add them to Word and print them out as well. Since I'm not selling them, I wouldn't think it would be a problem. If anyone knows if it is, let me know.
By the way, I designed each to be 2 inches high, by 3 inches wide, but it didn't reflect that here. You may want to resize to your desired size.

Your are wanting to bring joy and show special honor to others. You are using your imagination as God intended. You are creating after the image of your creator God. I call it worship.
I hope you are blessed with God-speed on your "other" tasks of worship today!
They look awesome! Great work!
PS: Bloggers new commenting system doesn't allow me to post my current blog link, which I consider very bah-humbug.
I never thought about my two hours of creativity like that. I was just having fun and enjoying the creative urge. Doesn't happen to me often! :)
I too think that making Christmas cards is worship...a time to pray for those who will recieve them, etc.
